Department of English and Languages

The Dept. of English and Languages has its thrust on research activities. The faculty members are involved in active research in the most contemporary fields like Post Humanities and Post Theory. This naturally invites frequent extramural lectures by eminent scholars. There is an annual National/International Conference every year which brings together the best minds in the most relevant domains. Often there are more activities like workshops and symposia along with it. Final year Post graduate students are given UGC-NET coaching prior to the exam. Students and research scholars are encouraged to participate in all extra-curricular, social service and cultural activities.
